On 30 July we welcomed over 100 Hughes Hall alumni and guests for an evening reception at the Oxford and Cambridge Club in London. The night was filled with delicious nibbles, interesting conversation, and renewed connections between alumni, senior members, and fellows. President Sarah Squire, attending her last event as President of the College, brought the energetic room to a standstill with a short speech which stressed the value of the Hughes alumni community. The strength of that community was clearly seen in the popularity of the event. The night was a great success for the College and we hope to make London based events a regular component of our vibrant events calendar.
