The college will be hosting its first family formal hall dinner on Friday 21st June at 6pm. This will be an opportunity for our younger members to get a taste of college life. With a special family friendly menu designed to tempt our most discerning diners, we hope you will join us for what will be a relaxed, playful, and informal dinner. As we know our younger guests will get hungry tummys – we’ve brought the usual formal hall time forward an hour. We will also be providing crayons and colouring in sheets to keep our young guests entertained.
This event is open to all Hughes Hall college members, offering a great opportunity to connect with other college members who have families, or caring responsibilities for children.
Tickets/to note:
- The event is a seated formal dinner in the evening, and a suggested minimum age of 5 years old has been set for children to attend.
- Please, if you plan to bring a child under 5 years old, email us to formal.hall@hughes.cam.ac.uk and we will check if an exception can be made.
- When booking, please notice that there are different ticket options: The standard tickets at £17.00 or the reduced tickets for children between 5 and 12 years old at £8.00, with smaller portions.
- Please do not hesitate to email formal.hall@hughes.cam.ac.uk if you have any issues booking the tickets or need more tickets than available on Upay. We might be able to help with your request.
- There’s no dress code for this dinner but adults may wish to adhere to normal FH guidelines.
