Hughes Hall Boat Club committee warmly invites you to our Easter Term Boat Club Dinner and alumni racing afternoon.
- 2pm: Alumni racing afternoon participants meet at Emmanuel boat house.
- 2:45pm: Spectators are welcome on Ditton Meadows.
- 6:30pm: Drinks reception – Peter Richards Room, Hughes Hall
- 7pm: Captains’: presentations
- 7:30pm: Dinner

Whether you have continued rowing competitively following your time with HHBC or have not sat in a boat since, we would love for you to join us for our first ever alumni race afternoon. We plan to set up matched eights for side-by-side racing along the reach, and you will have current club members cheering you on from the bank. Non- rowers or anyone not wishing to take part will be very welcome to join the spectators on Ditton Meadows.
After the racing we plan to christen our new women’s IV+ which is yet to be named- if you are interested in naming rights for the boat please get in touch with Imogen (overall captain).
Following an afternoon at the river will then celebrate the club’s achievements this year with an Easter Boat Club Dinner. Join us to hear reports and stories from our year on the Cam and beyond, and to wish our rowers the best of luck in May Bumps which commence on the following Wednesday.
